Creating Community Champions
This project funded by the European Social Fund and matchfunded by the University of Essex and Southend Borough Council is our trademark programme. The project sought to capacity build individuals from ‘deprived’ areas in Southend to enable them to be ‘active citizens’ and play an influential part in the decisions that affected their lives.

Schools Children & Young People
Our original programme focused on mentoring children and young people who were at risk of becoming disaffected in school. Funded by Connexions and delivered with local youth related partners we offered training which helped young people to understand their own strengths and worked with them to increase motivation and encourage engagement. Other work has included developing confidence and skills in young people, many with additional needs, so that they can approach adult life from a strong foundation. Courses can be adapted or devised to meet the needs of specific client groups.
